Peacocks are in....

Owls are still in, but from what I have noticed, the latest in clothing, weddings, and home decor seems to Peacocks. This was painted on plywood with the homeowners matching acrylic latex paint colors.

Better Looking Laundry Storage

I could not stand having the white metal shelf in my laundry room. The door is always open, so I thought I would attempt to make my own shelves. I did it!! I am just learning to build my own furniture and I am certainly not an pro, but I was pleased with the way my shelves turned out. I even made my own corbels!

I wasn't able to get a photo of the full shelf because it goes wall to wall, but you can see from this photo I have a lot more storage space and it's just a bit nicer to look at than metal shelves.
